Looking for 120v power supply to replace 12v 2.20Ah battery pack, what watt PS should i use? - looking for power of aternen

The battery can only mean data are 12V 2.2 Ah, NiCd. Seeking a source of 120VAC power to replace the battery.

It depends on the leakage current of the device or power.

A 12V, 2.2 Ah battery can supply:

12V 2.2 A * 1 h = 26.4 watts for 1 hour or
12V * 1A * 2.2h = 12 watts for 2.2 hours, or
12V * 0.5 * 4.4h = 6 watts for 4.4 hours
12V * 132 * 1 minute = 1584 watts for 1 minute.
etc.

Put an ammeter between the device and battery, and then multiply this reading (in amperes) of 12V, and add 10% loss in the conversion of AC into DC for your horsepower.

Specify power requirements for the battery is not based supply available. Most power supplies are rated at a certain voltage and current levels then the chances are you have a power supply 12Vdc to 120Vac, that can deliver the load current.
